Images rémanentes : An audio Tour

This episode of ARTériel offers an audio tour of the 13 works of the public art itinerary Images rémanentes. Gracia Tiendrebeogo, director of the episode, is your guide, introducing each of the works. This tour is accompanied by interventions from various people involved in the project, including artists Jared Betts, Mario Doucette, Emilie Grace Lavoie, Alisa Arsenault, Mathieu Léger and Jean-Denis Boudreau, as well as curators Elise Anne Laplante and Michelle Drapeau.

Images rémanentes

Inaugurated in 2018, Images rémanentes is a permanent exhibition of new works located in the City of Moncton. The exhibition explores elements of Acadian art history in southeastern New Brunswick, highlighting the exceptional contribution of individuals, key events and cultural entities to the vitality of the contemporary Acadian art scene from the 1960s to the present. 

Images rémanentes is a collaboration between the Imago Print Shop, the Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen and the Galerie Sans Nom. A publication accompanying the project is also available from the partner organizations.

Bienvenue Gracia is originally from Burkina Faso. This year, she obtained her Master's degree in Public Administration at the Université de Moncton. It was a great pleasure for her to work on this project with such wonderful people.
