This episode was recorded in French - but the Chiac is real…

ACADIE UNDERGROUND

For 25 years now, as part of the Media Arts (VAM) component of the Festival international du cinema francophone en Acadie (FICFA), Galerie Sans Nom has been presenting a mini Super8 film festival: Acadie Underground. Among the most popular activities of FICFA, Acadie Underground invites amateur and experienced filmmakers to create a short film on Super8. Each participant faces the same challenges: making a silent film of less than 3 minutes using only live view as an edit. Each year, around a dozen films offer a unique program. As one of the only annual Super8 film festivals still in existence North America, Acadie Underground remains an unparalleled film creation opportunity!
